Getting Started

Do I need to install anything?

Nope! Cloud of Worship runs entirely in your web browser. No downloads, no installations. Just open the website and log in.

Is it free?

We offer a free plan with core features for smaller teams. For larger teams or advanced features, check out our pricing page for details.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes! Cloud of Worship is designed to work on phones, tablets, and desktops. Many worship leaders use it on their phone during service.


Songs & Library

How do I add songs from another app?

You can import songs by copy-pasting lyrics directly into the song editor, or use our bulk import feature (available on some plans). Go to Songs > Import to get started.

Can I add chords to my songs?

Yes! Open a song and click the Chords tab. You can add chord notations above the lyrics line by line.

What if I don't know the key of a song?

No problem โ€” the key field is optional. You can leave it blank and fill it in later. Or just ask your pianist or guitarist โ€” they'll know! ๐Ÿ˜„

Can I delete a song?

Yes, but be careful โ€” deleting a song removes it permanently from your library. It will also be removed from any past services it was added to.

Tip: Instead of deleting, try adding a tag like "retired" or moving it to an "Archive" folder. That way you keep a history without cluttering your active library.


Team & Permissions

How do I remove a team member?

Go to Settings > Team, find the person, click the โ‹ฎ menu next to their name, and select Remove.

Can I change someone's role?

Yes! Go to Settings > Team, click the โ‹ฎ menu next to their name, and select Change Role.

Services & Planning

How far in advance can I plan services?

As far ahead as you'd like! Many teams plan services weeks or even months in advance, especially around big seasons like Christmas and Easter.

Can my team see the service plan?

Yes โ€” when you publish or share a service, everyone on your team can see the setlist, their assigned songs, and any notes you've added.

Can I reuse a service from a previous week?

Yes! Open any past service and click Duplicate. A copy is created that you can edit for the new date.


Technical

Which browsers work best?

Cloud of Worship works best on Chrome and Firefox. It also works on Safari (for iPhone and Mac users) and Edge.

What do I do if something isn't loading?

Try these steps in order:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Clear your browser cache (Settings > Clear Browsing Data)
  3. Try a different browser
  4. If it still doesn't work, contact us
